Client Overview

A global biotech with cross-functional teams spread across multiple markets needed to rebuild clarity, alignment, and team cohesion after rapid growth and organisational change.


Challenge

The team lacked a shared sense of purpose, clarity, and consistent ways of working. Newer teams needed direction, and established teams required a reset to align behaviours, expectations, and communication. Leadership needed a structured approach to reconnect the group and build stronger collaboration.

Element Approach

Element delivered a 1–2 day Team Charter workshop, guiding the team through:

  • Purpose and      vision

  • Values and      behaviours

  • Governance,      accountability, and metrics

  • Agreement on      shared “ways of working”

Outcome

The Team Charter created a clear, shared foundation for how the group works together day-to-day. Teams reported stronger alignment, greater clarity on roles and expectations, and more consistent behaviours across markets. Communication improved, cross-functional trust increased, and leaders observed faster, smoother decision-making with fewer points of friction.
